Simple, fair pricing for every kind of user
Almost everything here is free: the PDF tools, the calculators, the developer tools — and drawing in the CAD Studio, your drawing included. What is paid for is what actually costs us something: conversions that run on our servers, PDF/A archiving, and getting a file out without our mark. Take a 24h day pass without an account, pay per file with credits, unlock one category, or take full access.
🎬 The studios are included in your plan
Our five studios — Audio, Video, Photo, Document and CAD — are part of what you already pay for. Full access covers all five. A single-category plan gives you unlimited use of that whole category, studio included: a Video plan unlocks every video tool and the CBCOM Video Studio, and the same goes for Audio and for Images & media (the Photo Studio). A day pass does the same for 24 hours, with or without an account. With credits you pay per file instead: a clean export costs 50 credits for a video, 40 for audio, and 25 for a photo or a document. The CBCOM CAD Studio costs nothing at all — drawing and taking your drawing home are free for everyone, because CAD is sold as conversion. Export without paying and you still get your file; it simply carries CONVERTBURDA.COM. Using the studios themselves is always free: the check happens only when you export. The one exception is PDF/A: an archive file has to be produced to an ISO standard and carries a cost on our side for every file, so it needs the PDF/A plan or 150 credits per file.
Always free, no limit
Four whole categories never need a payment of any kind — use them as much as you like, forever. The PDF tools are among them: merging, splitting, rotating and compressing are free and stay free. So is drawing in the CBCOM CAD Studio, and taking your drawing home with you.

🗄️ PDF/A archiving
Every other PDF tool here is free. PDF/A is the exception, and for a concrete reason: it is the only output on this site that has to satisfy a conformance standard rather than simply be a file. Fonts, colour profile and structural metadata all have to be written into the document itself, the office-document route is converted on our own machines, and the result has to pass a validator at the receiving end. That is a real cost on every file produced. It sits outside full access as well, so if you already have everything else you simply add it here.

💽 Buy it once instead of renting
Every studio can also be bought outright, on its own or together, with two years of updates and support included. A studio always comes with the tools of its category — the studio is the workbench, the tools are what lie on it.

What happens when my free daily limit runs out?
You'll see a friendly notice — wait until the limit resets, grab a 24h day pass on the spot (no account needed), or unlock the category. Logged in with credits? Then the tool simply keeps working and pays per use from your balance.
Do credits expire?
No — a credit pack is yours until you spend it, no time limit.
Do plans auto-renew? Do I need to cancel?
No and no. Everything here is a one-time payment for a fixed period — when it ends, it simply ends. No subscription, no auto-renewal, nothing to cancel. Renewing early does not cost you anything either: the time you have left is added on top.
Why is so much of this free?
Because a tool that runs entirely inside your own browser costs us nothing to serve, and we would rather see it used than metered. Merging, splitting, rotating and compressing PDFs is free, and so is drawing in the CAD Studio — including the download of what you drew. What is paid for is what carries a real cost on our side: the conversions that run on our servers, PDF/A archiving, and getting a file out without our mark.
What is PDF/A, and why is it priced separately?
PDF/A is the archive format that authorities, courts and long-term archives ask for. It is not a setting on an ordinary PDF but a conformance standard, ISO 19005: every font, the colour profile and the structural metadata have to live inside the document itself, and a validator at the receiving end will check that they do. Producing one therefore costs us something on every single file — office documents are converted on our own machines, and the resources that make a file self-contained are embedded and maintained by us. That per-file cost is why PDF/A is charged for while the rest of the PDF toolbox is not, and it is offered on its own so that only the people who actually need archiving pay for it.
