Rotation is added, not replaced
Each page keeps track of its own orientation, and this tool adds your rotation to it. So if page 2 was already sideways and the rest were fine, rotate only page 2 (type 2 in the pages box) instead of the whole document. Run the tool again if you need another quarter turn.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No — the rotation happens entirely in your browser with JavaScript. Your file never leaves your device.
Does rotating reduce quality?
No — rotation only changes each page's orientation flag. The page content is not re-rendered or recompressed.
Why does a password-protected PDF fail?
Encrypted PDFs can't be read without their password. Remove the protection first (with the password you know), then rotate.
