Currency converter
Convert any of 30+ world currencies to any other, using the European Central Bank's official daily reference rates.
Why your bank gives you a different rate
The rates here are the ECB's reference rates — the official daily midpoint, published every working day around 16:00 CET. Banks, card networks and exchange offices start from roughly this rate and add their own margin (typically 0.5–4%), which is why the money that actually arrives is always a bit less. Use this converter to know the fair midpoint before comparing offers.
How fresh are these rates?
They update once per working day (no weekends or ECB holidays). For day-to-day use — invoices, travel budgets, price comparisons — daily reference rates are the standard everyone uses.
Where does the data come from?
Your browser fetches the rates directly from Frankfurter, a free open-source service that republishes the European Central Bank's official reference rates. We never see your request.
Is this financial advice?
No — this is purely informational, a calculator on top of public reference rates.
