Virtual tour maker
Link 360° photos into a tour a visitor can walk through: an arrow takes them to the next room or spot, an info point opens a short text. Choose where each photo starts, and save the tour as one HTML file for your own website. Everything happens in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
How to make a virtual tour
Take one 360° photo per room or spot — with a 360° camera (Insta360, Ricoh Theta, GoPro Max …) or a phone app that makes 360° photos — and choose them all at once. Each photo becomes a spot in the tour, in the order of the file names. If a photo is crooked or shows faces, straighten and blur it first in the 360° photo viewer & editor and use the saved file here.
Arrows from room to room
Go to a photo, look towards the door to the next room and click Arrow to another photo. The arrow appears in the middle of the view: drag it onto the door and choose where it goes. Do the same in the other room for the way back. A visitor who clicks the arrow moves forward into the next photo.
Info points and the first view
An info point opens a short text with a title: a price, the size of a room, what a machine does. For every photo, turn the view to what a visitor should see first and click Start here — an arrow always brings the visitor to that view. Use Try it to walk through the tour the way a visitor will.
On your own website
Tour as HTML gives one file with everything inside: put it on your website next to a page and paste the iframe line you get, or send the file — it opens with a double click. Tour as a folder gives the same tour as a folder that loads faster on a website. Free, the tour carries a small link to us; without it costs 50 credits per tour or is part of a 360° plan.
Carry on later
Save project gives a .cbtour file with the photos, the points and the settings. Drop it in the box at the top of this page to carry on — on this computer or another one. We store nothing: the photos are opened and the tour is made in your own browser.
About virtual tours
A virtual tour is a set of 360° photos a visitor walks through by clicking arrows, like walking from room to room. Estate agents use it for houses, car dealers for showrooms, and shops, hotels, schools and venues for their spaces. This tool makes the tour in your browser and gives you a file for your own website, without a subscription to a tour service and without a third-party player inside.
Do I need a 360° camera?
Yes, or a phone app that makes 360° photos. The photos must be 360° photos in the usual form: twice as wide as they are high (2:1). An ordinary panorama from a phone does not cover the full circle and cannot be used.
Where do you keep my tour?
Nowhere. We do not host tours: you get the file and put it where you like — your own website, a site builder that accepts HTML, or a shared folder. Nothing is uploaded to us.
How big does the file get?
About 3 MB per photo at 6144 px, so a tour of eight photos is about 25 MB. Choose 4096 px for a much smaller file, or the folder version, which only loads a photo when the visitor goes there.
Does the tour work on a phone?
Yes. Drag with a finger to look around, pinch to zoom, and tap an arrow to move on. On smaller devices the photos are shown at 4096 px so they fit in the graphics memory.
Can I change the tour later?
Yes: save the project (.cbtour) and drop it here again later. The HTML file itself is the finished result; to change it, open the project, edit, and save the HTML again.
What does it cost?
Making and saving a tour is free and unlimited, with a small link to us in the tour. Without the link costs 50 credits per tour, or is included in a 360° plan, a day pass or Full access.
