Video overlay
Burn a logo, watermark or text caption into a video — pick a corner, add your text and/or image, and save a new copy.
How the overlay is applied
The video plays once in real time while every frame is drawn to a canvas with your logo and/or text burned on top, then recorded back into a new video file — that's why rendering takes as long as the video itself. The output is WebM, the format modern browsers can record natively without any licensed codec.
Why does this take as long as the video's length?
The browser records the video in real time as it plays with the overlay drawn on top — there's no way to speed this up without extra software. A 2-minute video takes about 2 minutes to process.
Can I use both a logo and text at once?
Yes — add either, both, or neither. They share the position you pick, stacked if they'd otherwise overlap.
Is my video uploaded anywhere?
No — everything, including the recording step, happens entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
