Privacy policy

This is a working draft. It describes how Convertburda is designed to handle data today; it will be reviewed and finalized before launch.

Files you convert

Tools marked as running "in your browser" (currently the G-code viewer and photo converter) process your file entirely on your own device using JavaScript. The file is never uploaded and never reaches our servers.

Server-side tools (currently the UBL/Peppol invoice to PDF converter) process your file in server memory only for the duration of that single request, to generate the result, and discard it immediately afterwards — it is never written to disk and never logged. These servers are hosted in the EU.

Cookies & consent

We use strictly necessary cookies to run the site. Advertising and analytics cookies are only set after you accept them in the cookie banner; you can change your choice at any time via the "Cookies" link in the footer. We do not build cross-site advertising profiles — ads are targeted contextually, based on the page you're on, not your browsing history.

Hosting & data location

Convertburda is hosted on servers located in the EU. Cloudflare is used in front of the origin server for CDN, DNS and DDoS protection.

Your rights

Under GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you (for example account or billing data for a future Pro subscription). Since conversions themselves are not stored, there is normally nothing to request for the tools themselves.
