Mute or dim parts of a track
Load a track, select any stretch on the waveform — say 3.25s to 7.50s — and give every zone its own volume: dim it, boost it or mute it completely. No zones? Then one setting changes the whole file. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
How it works
Drag on the waveform to select a part (the time fields let you fine-tune to the exact hundredth of a second), pick a volume for it and add it as a zone. Repeat for as many zones as you like — one dimmed to 33%, another fully muted. Every zone edge gets a soft 15-millisecond ramp so the result never clicks. The final file downloads as MP3 with the quality you choose.
Can I make a part louder instead of quieter?
Yes — zone volumes run from 0% (silent) to 100% (unchanged), and the whole-file setting also offers 150% and 200%. Boosted audio is hard-limited so it never distorts into clipping.
Does my audio get uploaded?
No. The file is decoded, edited and re-encoded entirely inside your browser — it never leaves your device.
