How to read the table without fooling yourself

The list ranks the top 20 cryptocurrencies by market cap — price multiplied by circulating supply — because price alone is close to meaningless. A coin priced at 0.10 is not cheap, and one priced at 60,000 is not expensive; what a unit price mostly reflects is how many units exist. Market cap is what makes the sizes comparable, the 24-hour change column shows the short-term direction, and the EUR/USD switch simply re-denominates the same numbers. Treat the table as what it is: an orderly snapshot of a market that moves every second, taken at the moment the page loaded. Even the ranking itself breathes — market cap depends on reported circulating supply, and coins near each other on the list trade places from week to week without anything dramatic having happened.

The converter works in both directions

The quick converter answers the two questions people actually have. Coin to cash: what are my 0.03 BTC worth right now? Cash to coin: how much ETH would 50 euro buy? Type in either field and the other follows, using the same snapshot as the table. Two caveats keep it honest. Real exchanges add spreads and fees, so the sum you would actually receive is a little less than the arithmetic — the same midpoint-versus-margin logic as ordinary currencies. And between the moment shown here and any real transaction, the price has already moved; for small sums that is trivia, for large ones it is the whole story. The converter also quietly cures unit bias: seeing that a modest sum buys a very small fraction of a bitcoin keeps the scale honest in a way headlines about round numbers never do.

About the CoinGecko line

The prices are fetched by your own browser, directly from CoinGecko's public API — the request never touches our server, so nothing here records which coins you look up or what amounts you convert. The visible credit, Price data by CoinGecko, is the fair condition of using that data, and it stays. The same directness explains the occasional rate-limit pause: the free API counts requests per visitor, so a short wait and a reload is all it ever needs. It is a reasonable trade — a shared community data source, attributed honestly, in exchange for a price page with no tracking in it. Free data lives on being credited, and quietly stripping the line would be taking the data without paying the only price it asks.

What this page will never do

No buy buttons, no predictions, no portfolio tracker, no alerts when something pumps — by design, not by omission. Crypto assets are volatile enough that a display of prices can quietly start feeling like encouragement, so let the page say it plainly: this is information, not investment advice, and nothing here recommends buying or selling anything. If you hold crypto, decisions belong with your own research and, for serious sums, professional advice — and remember that in many countries converting coins to cash in real life is a taxable event, which is a matter for your accountant, not a price table.
